Expandable Conveyor
Expandable conveyors are primarily used to load or unload freight from freight trucks and vans. This conveyor may also be used on flexible assembly lines for packaging. The system works on an accordion style mechanism; as the material is being loaded on to a truck, the conveyor contracts, when unloading the truck, the conveyor expands to reach the material at the front of the trailer.
